Tail walking Dolphins

Living near Port Adelaide in Australia,is a group of blue-nosed dolphins that walk on their tails.They are not captive dolphins trained to perform to entertain people but they are wild dolphins.

The story goes that in the 1980s,Billie,a blue nose dolphin was trapped in a marine lock.She was rescued and kept in the local dolphinarium for a while,where she may have observed dolphins being trained to tail walk.

After she was returned to her home in Port Adelaide,she started teaching other dolphins to tail walk.
